Alveo3D Filter P4D-R

The Alveo3D P4D-R Filter sets new standards in air filtration for FDM 3D printers. With an efficiency of 99.995% at the most penetrating particle size (MPPS) of 0.3 μm, this HEPA14 filter ranks among the highest-performing filters in its class. Compared to HEPA13 filters, the P4D-R offers enhanced particle retention, helping to maintain a cleaner and safer working environment.

Tip: The filter also contains activated carbon granules made from coconut shells (1–3 mm).

Handling Instructions:

• Handle the filter with care. Damage to the white pleated HEPA14 filter surface may compromise filtration performance.

• Always wear gloves when replacing the filter and dispose of the used filter in the supplied zip-top bag. Saturated filters are not recyclable.

• The lifespan of the filter depends on several factors, including the filament type, extrusion temperature, nanoparticle and VOC concentration, and ambient humidity in the workspace.

• For optimal performance, ensure the housing support dimensions are at least 156 mm × 156 mm. Excessive compression may deform the frame geometry.

► Replacing the filter is recommended after approximately 4 months of intensive use or 8 months of occasional use.
