Description
The PA-CF low-warp filament by colorFabb has a unique composition.
As a result, printing on an unheated build plate is nearly warp-free.
Prints with little infill perfectly adhere to an unheated build plate. Models with a higher infill should ideally be printed at built plate temperatures between 40 - 50 ° C.
PA-CF is reinforced with carbon fibres to increase stiffness.
Since carbon fibres are abrasive, we recommend using a wear-resistant nozzle.
PA-CF has high tensile and impact strength and allows for long-term use at 120 ° C.
The composition of the filament has been modified to reduce moisture absorption.
Carbon fibres are abrasive, which accelerates nozzle wear when using the filament.
More information
Due to the high stiffness of 2.85mm filament, colorFabb recommends using a spool holder with some friction to prevent the filament from unwinding on its own.
