Phaetus Rapido X Hotend

The Phaetus Rapido X Hotend has been designed for modern high-speed 3D printers, combining exceptional melting performance with a robust construction for demanding materials. Thanks to the innovative Liber™ Ultra-High-Flow module, the hotend achieves flow rates of over 100 mm³/s and supports print speeds of up to 1300 mm/s.

Liber™ Ultra-High-Flow technology

At the heart of the Rapido X Hotend is the newly developed Liber™ Flow System, which significantly improves heat transfer to the filament. The optimised internal flow path reduces the distance between the heat source and the material core, allowing the filament to melt fully even at extremely high feed rates. The result is clean layers, improved layer adhesion and reliable extrusion, even at maximum print speeds.

Optimised thermal insulation

For precise temperature control, the Rapido X features a specially developed heatbreak system with a physical thermal barrier. The combination of titanium alloy components and a torsion-resistant construction minimises heat transfer into the cooling zone and reduces the risk of heat creep, stringing and blockages, even during long print jobs.

High-quality materials for maximum service life

The hotend uses a carefully selected combination of materials for optimal performance and durability:

• aluminium heatsink for efficient heat dissipation,
• wear-resistant EndCoat heatbreak,
• extended copper alloy heating block for fast heat transfer,
• titanium screws with low thermal conductivity,
• EndCoat nozzle for high wear and temperature resistance.

Compatible with high-performance technical filaments

In addition to standard materials such as PLA, PETG, ABS, TPU, PA and PP, the Rapido X also processes abrasive composites and specialist technical filaments with ease.

Flexible upgrade system

The Rapido X is fully compatible with V6 nozzles, making it easy to adapt to a wide range of printing requirements. The hotend can also be easily integrated into existing systems and supports, among others:

• Prusa printers,
• E3D V6 setups,
• Bowden systems,
• Rapido and NextG platforms,
• other printers with suitable adapter solutions.
