Description
presto Plastic Primer is a transparent spray primer that helps spray paints adhere reliably to hard plastics. It creates a strong connection between the plastic surface and the top coat, reducing the risk of the paint chipping, peeling or flaking over time.
The primer is suitable for use on polyurethane (PUR), polystyrene (PS), polyamide (PA), modified polypropylene rubber (EPDM), acrylonitrile butadiene styrene plastic (ABS), glass fibre-reinforced plastic (GRP) and rigid PVC. This covers most common plastic parts used in the automotive and leisure sectors.
Preparation: Before application, it is recommended to lightly sand the plastic surface with fine wet sandpaper and clean it thoroughly with a silicone remover. This preparation further improves primer adhesion and helps achieve an even result.
Fast-drying and economical: A 400 ml can covers approximately 5 to 6 m². The primer is touch-dry after around 5 minutes and dry and ready to paint over after around 15 minutes, so the next painting step can continue without a long waiting time.
