Description

Liqcreate Bio-Med Flex is a flexible photopolymer resin with a Shore hardness of A73. It has been specially developed for medical, dental and other applications, and can be processed easily on most common resin-based 3D printers.

With a Shore A hardness of 73, Bio-Med Flex combines two properties that are often required in the medical field: flexible, elastic behaviour and high biocompatibility. Parts made from this material can be bent easily, return to their original shape after deformation and provide comfortable wear in applications close to the body.

After printing, parts can be cleaned with common disinfectants and sterilised by steam sterilisation in an autoclave. This makes Bio-Med Flex an excellent choice for applications that require repeated cleaning and sterilisation cycles, for example in clinics, dental practices or laboratories.

Important note on regulatory responsibility: If this material is used to manufacture a regulated medical device, the user is fully responsible for registration and approval. The manufacturer supplies the material with the specified material properties. However, compliance with the medical device regulations applicable in the country of use remains the responsibility of the user.
