Description

presto Styrene-Free Glass Fibre Filler is a two-component polyester filler containing glass fibre particles, specifically developed for repairing larger damaged areas and rust-through holes. The combination of unsaturated polyester resin, glass fibres, and an integrated adhesion promoter (NT) creates a particularly stable and resilient bond.

This filler is ideal for bridging perforations, stabilising weakened areas, and levelling out larger uneven surfaces. It can be used on metal, wood, concrete, and many plastics, and is especially suitable for areas subject to mechanical stress, tension, or expansion forces.

► Application Recommendation: The surface must be clean, dry, free of grease, sanded, and cleared of rust. Thoroughly mix the required amount of filler with the correct amount of hardener and apply in the desired layer thickness. After approximately 30–40 minutes, the surface can be further processed—for example, by sanding, drilling, or painting. For a particularly smooth finish, it is recommended to level the area afterwards using a filler or fine filler.

Note: For larger rust holes (> 12 mm), appropriate pretreatment, such as with polyester resin, should be carried out beforehand.
