Description

The Prusa Prusament PETG V0 is a UL-certified, self-extinguishing PETG filament. It combines the proven mechanical properties of PETG with a tested fire protection classification, making it particularly suitable for safety-critical applications.

Like standard Prusament PETG, PETG V0 offers excellent toughness, good heat resistance and versatile usability. Its strong layer-to-layer adhesion ensures durable, robust parts. At the same time, the material shows minimal warping, allowing even larger print objects to be produced reliably and with high dimensional accuracy.

The key difference compared to conventional PETG lies in its fire behaviour: in the event of ignition, a charred protective layer forms on the surface, reducing oxygen supply and slowing flame spread. The material is self-extinguishing once the ignition source is removed.
