Reflecon Tarnish 11 Scanning Spray, 500 ml

Reflecon Tarnish 11 Scanning Spray is a volatile matting agent developed specially for optical 3D laser scanning. It creates a uniform, matte coating that significantly enhances the scanning of glossy or reflective surfaces.

The applied powder layer sublimates on its own and disappears completely within roughly 1–3 hours, depending on the object, ambient temperature and air circulation. No extensive cleaning of the components is required afterwards. Although the product contains solvents, it has a reduced odour and provides excellent wetting of the intended surfaces. Its suitability for painted surfaces and plastics is limited.

The spray produces no dust residue during application, helping to protect sensitive components such as laser fans. In addition, the applied coating offers excellent adhesion for reference markers and allows them to be removed cleanly at typical layer thicknesses.
