Vallejo Metal Color 711 Magnesium, 32 ml

Vallejo Metal Color is an innovative range of metallic paint blended with aluminium pigments in an aqueous formula. The metallic colours chosen for this series are the most widely used by international air forces worldwide. Due to its extraordinarily shiny surface and its reflectivity, the model builder can use metal paint during the entire painting process without having to resort to solvent-based paints. Apply the metal paint directly to the model with an airbrush or mix with an airbrush thinner or flow improver. The paint dries very quickly to form a homogeneous paint film of exceptional durability, while preserving the smallest details of the model. Can be mixed with other paint from the Air or Game Air series directly in the airbrush container. The paint can also be applied directly with a brush.

For the airbrush process, compressor settings of approx. 15 - 20 PSI or 0.5 to 1 kg are recommended. For fuselages and aircraft model components, it is recommended to first apply a base made of glossy black primer to emphasise the specific properties of the aluminium surface.

Metal Color dries very quickly, however it is recommended to wait 12 hours after application before proceeding with any further steps.
