Description
colorFabb allPHA is a PHA filament with good layer adhesion and a heat deflection temperature of around 120 °C, designed to print on an unheated bed. Produced through fermentation, it behaves differently from conventional PLA: it requires an unheated bed and full fan speed. Once you are familiar with its printing requirements, it delivers robust parts with surprisingly high heat resistance.
With a heat deflection temperature of approximately 120 °C, allPHA can withstand significantly more heat than conventional PLA. Printed parts feel sturdy and tough, making them suitable for applications where occasional proximity to heat sources is expected.
The layers bond exceptionally well under most printing conditions. This produces strong parts that are less likely to split along the layer lines. Unlike many filaments, allPHA does not require a heated bed. Print at a nozzle temperature of 190 to 200 °C, a speed of 40 to 80 mm/s and 100% fan speed.
Tip: As the first layer can adhere very strongly to some surfaces, colorFabb recommends using an unheated bed with 3DLac and a brim.

ecofriendly alternative for prototyping - printing can be tricky
considering is eco-friendly and degradable material i think is definitively the best option for printing prototypes (that maybe are thrown away), can be used for functional objects too.
Not fast as PLA but i managed to have quite fast print up to volumetric speed 10 mm3/sec
The material as expected tend to deform a lot during printing especially in the parts that are on the building plate, require huge brims as tends to detach from building plate.
Use glue stick if using PEI smooth sheet.
Remember to disable completely the plate heating.
The material is not hard as PLA or thought PLA and have some elasticity but can be drilled and screw threads works fine.
Overall considering there are not really biodegradable alternative nowadays i give 4 stars
PS it is not really black, probably a dark dark
