Great, well designed product
I am writing this review from the point of view of owning both the anycubic Air Pure and the Elegoo Mini Air Purifier - I originally thought they were the same product repackaged with different branding, which the 3D printing market is more guilty of than any other market I’ve ever seen… but they’re not.
Pros of the Anycubic
Does the job
Uses USB C
Charges quick out of the box
LED indicators are actually helpful
Controllers NOT coded by 1000 monkeys on 1000 typewriters (LEDs, everything works as expected)
Cons
No spare filters in the box
Cable included is useless, but hey, it’s USB C, you probably have 10 decent ones within reach.
Conclusion
Considering the similar price, I see NO reason to ever buy the elegoo one over anycubics, they’re different products that do the same thing, but in my opinion, one was tested in the real world… one wasn’t and as a result, Elegoo’s is a poorly designed and frankly a bad product and Anycubic’s is a good, well designed product.
