Polymaker™ ASA is a high-performance technical ASA-based filament specifically designed as an evolution of ABS. It offers exceptional UV and weather resistance, making it ideal for components intended for long-term outdoor use.
Compared to ABS, ASA provides significantly better resistance to sunlight, moisture, and temperature fluctuations while maintaining robust mechanical properties. Printing with Polymaker™ ASA is similar to ABS: using an enclosed build chamber helps to minimise warping and temperature variations, ensuring clean and reliable results.

Good ASA
This ASA smells.more than their own ABS, but except for that it works well. Larger parts need a warm chamber and good adhesion, but smaller ones work well also without chamber heating, as long as the fan is off and no drafts are present, so some cardboard enclosure or at least cardboard walls around the printer and a "draft shield" in the slicer are needed.
