PEEK filament for FDM 3D printers
Temperature resistant thermoplastic
PEEK, also called polyether ether ketone, is a high-temperature resistant plastic with a melting point of about 335 ° C.
The material is very resistant to many organic and inorganic chemicals and is mainly used in industry and medical technology.
PEEK is about 70% lighter than comparable metals with similar properties. The special feature of the 3D printing of PEEK filament lies in the high required print temperature. Depending on the manufacturer, the hot-end must be heated up to 400 ° C.
